In the days that we are standing in, it is easy for one’s heart to grow weary and to feel that you just cannot find hope. Every television, newspaper, radio station and form of social media brings us images and details of chaos and evil. It is overwhelming. It is disheartening but we must not lose hope.
We are facing evil days. We are facing trying times. We are standing in the middle of prophecies being fulfilled; one by one, each scripture being revealed day by day. Though we know these days are to come, we do not have to succumb to the weariness these days can bring. We can be strong. We can be determined. We can be diligent and we can still cling to the hope and promises of our God.
We don’t have to fear the weapons of our enemy.
“No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall confute every tongue that rises against you in judgement.” Isaiah 54:17
God will preserve us.
“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life.” Psalm 138:7
We can have peace.
“Peace I leave you, my peace I give you. Not as the world gives do I give. Let not your heart be troubled; neither let them be afraid.” John 14:27
We do not have to run or hide.
“But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls.” Hebrews 10:39
If we overcome weariness, we will see the the harvest.
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9
We do not have to be afraid.
“Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord!” Psalm 31:24
We can trust in God if we keep our eyes upon him.
“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.” Isaiah 26:3-4
God is holding us; we do not have to live in dread.
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
Our strength will never end and cannot be broken.
“Your bars shall be iron and bronze and as your days, so shall your strength be.” Deuteronomy 33:25
We will never be left alone.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave your or forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6
Nothing can remove God’s love.
“For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not be removed, says the Lord who has compassion on you.” Isaiah 54:10
The Lord hears and will deliver us.
“When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.” Psalm 34:17
NOTHING can overtake us.
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.” Isaiah 43:2
These are the days of urgency. These are the days that are spoken of all throughout scripture. Though it may not fully come to pass in our generation or our children’s generation, we must be steadfast. We must not allow ourselves to be shaken. We must not cower back in fear. We must remember who Christ created within us and we must remember that every time God says He will do something, He 100% shows up and does it exactly as He proclaimed. He is not a God of broken promises.
In these moments, when the wreckage is so fierce and the brokenness is so deep, we must remember what we are created to do. We must not stop sharing the love, the light, the hope and faith of Christ Jesus. We must not be afraid to speak his name, no matter the cost. We must not be ashamed of our Father and we must not deny Him. He is with us. He weeps as we weep, He wars with us. He stands WITH US. We are not alone.
Though our world and our nation may crumble around us, we will be standing because that is what God has promised to His people. Nothing can come against us. We will have victory no matter the outcome. Take heart in knowing that He has been aware this was coming and He made us aware. Do not be surprised at the evil that is seeping across our lands. Be diligent in prayer. Be watchful. Man your post. Stand your ground. Ready your horns. Sound the alarms and ready your armor. Stand at the front lines with Jesus and declare healing, declare peace, declare righteousness, declare freedom, declare light. If no one will listen, keep sounding the alarm. Don’t give up. Don’t quit. Don’t stop.
God will not let his people down. We will all be set free. We will all rise above this evil and we will have victory in this life or the next. This is not the time to surrender our weapons of warfare to an evil and determined enemy. We must be more determined. We must be more diligent and we must not stop telling the world of Jesus’ sacrifice, His resurrection, His love, His forgiveness, His redemption and His restoration. We must proclaim the truth no matter how hard the nations try to take our voices and it must be done not just in truth BUT IN LOVE. We must stand united. On all fronts.
The war has begun. Will you stand and fight?
You are mighty. Do not be afraid. Be steadfast in Jesus. I am praying for you as I hope you pray for me and my family. Together, we will bring Jesus to this world and we will sweep out the darkness at all costs.
We are mighty. We are no alone.
We will not be afraid.
In Jesus Name,
Kristy Delgado ❤
